Bagdad Elementary PTA
Purpose
The Bagdad Elementary PTA is a group of parents, teachers, and community members that come together to support all our students. We provide opportunities for families to engage into school life and encourage members to advocate for the needs of all our children.
PTA membership is open to anyone concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children. Anyone means YOU - members of our community, including: grandparents, teachers, business owners, friends, and family can join the Bagdad Elementary PTA!
Mission
The mission of the PTA is three-fold:
To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

PTA members are not required to attend meetings or events, but are always welcome to join us!
ALL family members and community members can join: grandparents, step-parents, aunts, uncles, even your neighbors and friends!
Your membership dollars help fund special programs for our school that otherwise wouldn't happen.
We value all the help we can get. There is no minimum requirement for how little or how much you volunteer. Whether you help once, twice, or not at all — your membership benefits us tremendously. We understand that some are busier than others and we appreciate any level of participation. Your membership still helps us earn recognition, raise money, AND gets you lots of perks.
