The Bagdad Elementary PTA is a dedicated group of parents, teachers, and community members working together to support all of our students. We strive to create meaningful opportunities for families to engage in school life and encourage every member to advocate for the education, health, and well-being of every child.

PTA membership is open to everyone who cares about kids—whether you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, business owner, neighbor, or friend. If you care about children, you belong in the Bagdad Elementary PTA!

La PTA de la Escuela Primaria Bagdad es un grupo comprometido de padres, maestros y miembros de la comunidad que trabajan juntos para apoyar a todos nuestros estudiantes. Nos esforzamos por crear oportunidades significativas para que las familias participen en la vida escolar y alentamos a cada miembro a abogar por la educación, la salud y el bienestar de todos los niños.

The mission of the PTA is three-fold:

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.
To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.
To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

La misión de la PTA tiene tres objetivos fundamentales:

Apoyar y abogar por los niños y jóvenes en las escuelas, en la comunidad y ante organismos gubernamentales y otras organizaciones que toman decisiones que afectan a los niños.
Ayudar a los padres a desarrollar las habilidades que necesitan para criar y proteger a sus hijos.
Fomentar la participación de los padres y del público en las escuelas públicas de nuestra nación.

Did you know:

PTA members are not required to attend meetings or events, but are always welcome to join us!
ALL family members and community members can join: grandparents, step-parents, aunts, uncles, even your neighbors and friends!
Your membership dollars help fund special programs for our school that otherwise wouldn't happen.
We value all the help we can get. There is no minimum requirement for how little or how much you volunteer. Whether you help once, twice, or not at all — your membership benefits us tremendously. We understand that some are busier than others and we appreciate any level of participation. Your membership still helps us earn recognition, raise money, AND gets you lots of perks.
